Below is a list of suggested items that residents may want to bring (this list is not all inclusive):
- Prescription medications – at least 2-weeks supply, written prescriptions must accompany all samples (Medications may be verified with prescribing physician at time of admission).
- Over the counter medications
- Music Players (may not have phone, internet, or camera capabilities)
- Appropriate books
- Musical instruments
- Blanket, linens or pillow (these are provided if needed)
- Pictures
- Exercise clothing and gym shoes
- Weather appropriate clothing (Including shoes/boots for the horse pasture)
- Toiletries (all toiletries w/ any type of alcohol will be lock-up)
- Razors
- Blow dryer / curling irons
- Feminine hygiene products
- Phone card for long distance calls
- Name, address and phone numbers of professionals you have been working with (Include medical doctors, therapists, dietitians, etc…)
- Money for incidentals
- List of contacts and Numbers
- Hair cut before entering program
- Laundry Basket
- Note paper (3-ring binder is provided)
- Postage stamps and envelopes
Items residents may use, but will be locked up:
- Prescription drugs
- Vitamins
- Eye drops and nasal sprays
- Aerosol sprays
- Scissors / knives
- Glue / liquid paper
- Manicure kits
- Pins / needles
- Cell phones
- Cameras and recording devices
Contraband items may not be brought
- Supplements
- Laxatives / diet pills / diet aids
- Televisions
- Pornographic Material
- Alcohol / Drugs
- Magazines that glamorize addictive or inappropriate behaviors
- Weapons
